Two Barns and a Wander

About this event

We will be hiking some back country trails at Silver Falls State Park.
Starting on the Perimeter Trail our hike will take us to ranch country and the new and old barns. Then, via some unnamed trails, we will rejoin the Rim Trail and return to the North Falls parking, with an optional visit to Upper North Falls.

Difficulty: Easy - Medium

Pace: Moderate

Hiking Distance: about 6 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 700 feet

Driving Distance: 50 miles RT

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
