The Knoll and Gods Thumb, February 10
Published on 2/10/2019
While it was a chill 32 degrees when we started out the sky was a brilliant blue and we were soon shedding layers. After hiking the beach we headed up the trail. The thumb was muddy and presented a challenge only Leslie surmounted. The leader dubiously ended up covered in mud from head to toe after a slide down the slope! We headed on to the Knoll without further mishap and decided to take the shorter route back to the cars as the weather quickly changed. Enjoying the ocean views were Leslie Johnson, Trish and Joe Rossitto, and leader John Huff.
