Salt Creek Snowshoe, February 9
Published on 2/9/2019
We had an awesome day in this winter wonderland. It was snowing when we started out. We viewed Salt Creek Falls, then walked along the stream crossing over a bridge. Started our climb & found a great lunch spot. The sun came out & some blue sky too. We then snowshoed to Diamond Falls for the view and made our way back. We put in five miles and 700 feet of elevation gain. We could not end the day without making some snow angels. Twelve attended: Mike Buren, Trish Rossitto, Joe Cover, Kayleen Warner, Deanna Davis, Duane Cardwell, Joanna Picchi, Alissa Claney, Alison Crisi, Tom Davis, Chuck White, and leader Lynnette Olesen.
