Rooster Rock (Menagerie Wilderness) - September 22, 2021

The Rooster Rock trail is one of this leader's favorites because it is largely free of rocks and roots and, therefore, makes for relaxing walking in a lovely forest. Our group trooped right up the very steep parts, aided by the cool fall weather. We saw just one other person all day. The only down side was that one of Blanka's car windows was smashed at the trail head, but fortunately nothing was taken. The member-participants were Mary Coleman, Mary Liepins, Peter Mildenberger, Blanka Truneckova, Rosanna Wilson, Joan Zuber, and leader Elizabeth Seibert.
