Shotgun Creek Loop-February 19, 2022

After driving through fog to get to the trailhead, we were rewarded with blue skies throughout our hike. The leader was grateful to have Elizabeth Peters along to help guide us as the leader inadvertently brought the wrong trail map. Elizabeth guided us on an additional one-mile loop, which made the hike about 6 miles long.
There were many old stone covered bridges (maybe disguised culverts) which added to the charm of the forest, full of moss, ferns and a few large trees. It was a very nice day for a winter hike. Members joining us were Nadene LeCheminant, Matt Rieke, Sandra Martin, Elizabeth Peters and guest Sally Wells, who completed her first qualifying hike. Leader was Debra Dawes
