Even though we were early in the season, the gardens were beautiful. The wildlife was not as abundant as usual, I saw only one wood duck but no eagles. Mallards, Canada Goose and grebes were abundant. Next we walked alone Division Street and nearby streets from about 23rd to 9th streets and saw several of the Division Street Bronzes and the large Geisha girl near 9th St. Next we headed over to the Madison and 10th St area for more art and lunch at Nicholas Restaurant. A few of the hikers had to leave at this point for other obligations but the rest of us visited 200 SE Clay for the abundant art there. From there we continued north to Ankeny and saw many pieces of art there also.
