Our group of 8 avoided high heat in the valley by spending a wonderful day along Bugaboo Ridge and on up to the peak of Bachelor Mountain. The flowers were epic, which turned the first part of the hike into a leisurely and informative flower identification walk! Even the summit leg gave us loads of blooms, and the top graced us with a pleasant breeze to dispel the direct sun a bit. Hikers included Steve Gram, Rob Kimmich, Nadene LeCheminant, Sandra Martin, John Maurice, Dan Moang, Jill Wilson and leader Mady Kimmich.
