It was 90+ degrees in Salem, but we were fine near water and under huge Douglas Fir, Noble Fir, Hemlock, and Western Red Cedar trees. Many of us are very familiar with the beautiful path to Pamelia Lake, but continuing on the trail to the left of the lake is even more scenic, with gushing rivulets and small waterfalls. Bridges, nicely-constructed rock diversions, and one easy ford makes the next mile and half or so a gorgeous little adventure. We turned around at the Pamelia Creek crossing. Guest Mark Flores and Dan Moung joined members Nadene LeCheminant, Bev Hassell, Chris O'Brien, Kathleen Hynes, Marie Flores and leader Elizabeth Seibert.
All smiles and ready to head off to Pamelia Lake and Beyond. From left, Dan Moung, Beverly Hassell,
