A soft and misty day led newish member Lisa Reid, Ric and leader Susan LaTour through the creekside trail and up to the top, where we were met with a "trail closed" sign due to the heavy gravel being hauled in onto the road/trail surface. Like Aesops' fox and the grapes, we decided the way we came was prettier anyway and so retraced our steps, happy to have gotten outside in such a pleasant place.
