Fallen trees tore out a few sections of the Wahkeena
Trail, but nothing Chemeks couldn’t manage.

Multnomah Creek canyon was severely burned in 2017,
which opened up dramatic views down the narrow, steep canyon.
Hikers took the spur trail to view the top of Multnomah Falls,
then descended to Multnomah Lodge for coffee and a snack.
