Beautiful sunny day for a steep hike! Five of us (Steve Engler, Mark Ferguson, Celine Livengood, Margarita Nunez and leader Mady Kimmich) enjoyed the clear and well-maintained trail decorated with a profusion of calypso orchids, whipplea, and windflowers/Lyall's Anemone. We had great views of the snow-covered Three Sisters and Belknap Crater.
