About this event
The lower portion of the trail is fairly steep, through Douglas fir forest and meadows to a good viewpoint. The upper portion eases off a bit with wonderful wildflower meadows. Nice rocky scramble to the top with superb views of the Cascade peaks. Always the possibility of some downed trees in the lower section. Leader will scout before the hike.
