Our enthusiastic group of five had a pleasant walk past Lake Ann and then explored Marion Falls -- surprisingly good water volume (see photo) and trail not any worse than usual. Then we scampered back to the main trail and headed to the outlet bridge and on up Pine Ridge trail to the summit. By that time, it was pretty hot, and hydrating was a priority! Very good views of Mt. Jefferson and Three-Finger Jack from the top (see photo). Then quickly down to the lake for a wonderful swim (2 of us) and foot-cooling. All in all, a great mix of scene and company: Steve Engler, Marie Flores, Joanne Schiedler, Chris Van Londen and leader Mady Kimmich.
