Leader Georgienne Young and members Ken Ash, Simon Monti, Tracy White, Patti Baskin and Nancy Orem. We carpooled from west Salem to the Miller Woods Conservation Area three miles west of McMinnville where we hiked the 4.7 mile outer loop trail with an elevation gain of 560 feet walking at a moderate pace through lovely fern-filled forest and crossing Berry Creek several times. At the 645 feet K.T. summit we stopped for lunch, then continued on to cross an open meadow, round a pond and returned to our cars. At McMenamins Oregon Hotel in McMinnville we enjoyed beverages before returning to Salem. A good day!
