About this event
This short and sweet hike begins from Roads End near Lincoln City. We will hike a probably muddy trail through a Sitka Spruce forest to the basalt pinnacle known as God's Thumb. We will have great views from the top of the surrounding coast from Lincoln City to the south to Cascade Head to the north. We will be much too late for wildflowers, but a herd of elk or other wildlife are a possibility. Come prepared with the 10 essentials. Boots would be a good idea. Preregister with the leader at picchij@gmail.com.
