The annual Post-Thanksgiving hike and potluck 2023 had a wonderful crew and bright blue weather. Color us thankful!
To avoid holiday crowds and icy waterfalls, we opted to hike from the new North Falls Canyon Trailhead up the Perimeter Trail. The new trail and its very posh rock overlook was new to most of us. There were audible gasps as we assembled at the viewpoint. The new trail adds a mile each way, so we logged in almost 8 miles before heading to the Coleman house for our needed potluck. Four more Chemeks joined us there for the party only.
Enjoying a great day with friends were: Martin Doerfler, Scott and Lynette Torgeson, Joanne Schiedler, Margaret Saxe, Georgienne Young, Nadene LeCheminant, Katherine Daniels, Mark Ferguson, Linda Jurgenson, Marilyn and Carroll Johnston, Carol Doerfler, Ted Young, Dorald Stoltz, Joan Zuber and Mary Coleman, leader.
