This walk was rescheduled from a very rainy January day, and we lucked out with the weather the second time. The houses of the Fairmount neighborhood are varied and beautiful and include the Governor’s Mansion and the Willamette University-owned home of its president. Spring is coming! We saw several camellia bushes in bloom, a pink rhody, daffodils, snow drops and crocuses. The group was congenial and seemed pretty happy! Walkers, all members, were Don Orwick, Sumon Monrti, Roz Shirack, Marie Flores, Ashley Sorg, Ralph Hall, Steve Engler, Jill Wilson, Elly Collier, and leader Elizabeth Seibert.
