A group of six hikers reveled in the first warm days of the year at Sitka Sedge trail. Initially windy, the day settled out into lovely blue sky and shirtsleeve weather. One hiker remarked on the different aspects of the trail from beach to forest to estuary, a pleasant surprise for such a short trail. The ice cream at Pacific City that followed was pretty pleasant, too. Hikers were Patricia Fuhrman, Patty Baskin, new member Helen Wang, Karen Huntzinger, and Ric and Susan LaTour.
