Trail Maintenance
The Chemeketans periodically organize outings to help develop and maintain trails on both Federal and State lands. Trail maintenance includes such things as trimming vegetation, tread work on trails, logging-out fallen trees, and repair and replacement of bridges. This is a valuable and very much appreciated volunteer activity. Everyone is encouraged to participate at whatever skill level or capability they have.

In addition to projects organized by the Chemeketans, the Chemeketans have a partnership with Trail Keepers of Oregon to volunteer for various trail building and maintenance events. The calendar and sign-up information for Trail Keepers can be found at:
