What Bryon said! It’s always magical to summit above the cloud layer with only the nearby peaks and yourselves sharing the experience. Also glad to see Jean was able to make contact with you and participate, as it’s been a while since we’ve climbed together.

And Cathy    -    think of the above an a remedial plie barre exercise; almost a like a vegetable belay but with full pack!

Good read Scotty. I’m sure the pictures don’t represent very well just how rough of an approach it was. Those last photos in the deep forest with giant boulders consumed by giant trees and moss is impressive. It is also always cool to see the views up above the sea of endless clouds. Good climb everyone
