North Sister Trip Report 10/1/22
Author Last Post
Excellent trip report. Good on ya, Shonee, for working through the challenges of other teams being on the mountain and being open to learning from Scottie. That's what leaders do. Well done. :)
Congrats team!

Thanks Gabe. To be fair to the Mazamas, I inadvertently made it sound like they took two hours to rappel, when that part only took about an hour. The extra two hours included additional waiting before we entered the bowling alley due to periodic ice showers, followed by more delays and coordination after we started climbing the alley only to find the Mazamas prepping to rappel. It’s definitely a bottleneck. I think we both tested each other’s patience a bit, but everyone seemed to take it in stride. Next time I’ll be checking their calendar for sure.

Well done Shonee and team!

Sharing the mountains can be hard at times. Waiting two hours for six people to rappel would have certainly tested my patience.
