I will be posting a Mt. St. Helens climb for this Friday, April 19th. The calendar event should be up by tomorrow and I'll have a prospectus by Wednesday. Here are the basics:

Route distance: 12 miles RT
Elevation gain: 5800 feet
Max group size: 12
Permit: $20 per person (quota system)
Open to skiers and/or climbers on foot

This climb is appropriate for 2024 climb school grads who are already in mountain-climbing condition (note the big elevation gain). I need to know you can maintain a reasonable uphill pace for 6-ish hours, and still have energy for the long descent.
