Rooster Rock -- East of Sweet Home
A difficult hike, Rooster Rock in the Menagerie Wilderness east of Sweet Home is the site of a former fire lookout. We'll use the Trout Creek Trail. It's all up-hill and the last half-mile is extremely STEEP. Don't be fooled by the short distance and slow pace; this is not an easy hike. Meet at the State Motor Pool Park&Ride on Airport Road. Up to four vaccinated hikers can ride with me; bring a mask. Register to get meeting time; if you email, include a phone number. Fully vaccinated participants only.
