Jefferson Wilderness Marion and Gatch Falls

Jefferson Wilderness Marion and Gatch Falls. If you use your car you'll need a Northwest Forest Pass. Marion and Gatch Falls can be reached on spurs off the trail to Marion Lake. There's old growth mountain hemlock. We'll reach Lake Ann where the trail splits. We'll go to the west side (on the right) of Marion Lake to reach Marion Falls. Bring rain gear, boots with good traction because there's an incline to Marion Falls. Continuing on that trail should take us to Gatch Falls. Environmental conditions unpredictable. The last time I was there we saw wispy smoke from a wild fire. Bring water, snacks, and wilderness essentials.
