House Rock Campground to Santiam Wagon Road
This lovely trail follows the Santiam River, starting from House Rock Campground, heading to the Mountain House Trailhead and then back again. It follows a portion of the historic wagon toll trail that was built for commerce from Sweet Home over the pass to Central Oregon. The lushly moss-carpeted trail passes through old growth firs and ancient big leaf maples, and possibly some lingering wildflowers.
