This overnight climb of Middle Sister (10,047 ft) from the Pole Creek trailhead is a good opportunity to get into the Three Sisters Wilderness before the overnight permits are required and experience snow camping in an alpine setting. The steep hike/climb up the North Ridge will require ice ax and crampon use, possibly a little rope work. Some basic snow skills may be covered for recent climb school graduates.
