This hike depends on the leader getting permits, so please sign up by 7/30. Gentle trail through forest to Pamelia Lake, then steady switchbacks up to the peak with many views en route and a glorious close-up view of Mt. Jefferson. Snow on the trail should be gone and flowers should still be good. Meeting place is the State Motor Pool Park ‘n Ride on Airport Road. Vaccinated and boosted hikers only, please.
