Dan’s Trail

Loop trail in the McDonald Forest near Corvallis. This trail has a variety of forest cover including oak savanna restoration, Douglas Fir, pioneer orchard and some grassland. A nice hike in any season.

Difficulty: Medium.

Pace: Moderate.

Hiking Distance: 7.5 miles RT.

Elevation Gain: 1400 feet.

Driving Distance: 70 miles RT.

MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
