Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge

This refuge is located just outside of Sherwood.  The plan is to walk the 4-mile Wetland Trail.  Most of it is in the open (not much tree cover). On a visit last spring, there was a partial trail closure due to heavy rains and high water making it a shorter walk. This area is popular with birders, but since the leader doesn't know her birds, this won't be an official bird walk.  We won't dawdle too much, but bring your binoculars.  Bring a snack and/or lunch, but the plan could include lunch at The Trees restaurant in Sherwood if the group is interested.  Details on time and place when you register (no texts please).
