Wahkeena and Multnomah Falls Loop

Hike starts at the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead on the Old Columbia Gorge Hwy. We quickly reach the base of Wahkeena Falls, then climb up steeply to several good viewpoints at the top of the the Falls. We next pass little Fairy Falls on the way to Multnomah Creek. We descend along Multnomah Creek with its many cascades and falls to the viewpoint at the top of Multnomah Falls, then on down to the Lodge. If it is not too crowded, we could stop for a hot drink and snack before walking the last .8 mile to our cars. Wear good boots and poles are helpful as trail can be muddy and is steep in places. Limited to 8 fully vaccinated and boosted hikers.
