Advanced Anchor Building, Field Session

This is the Field session for the advanced anchor building class. We will be meeting at horse thief butte campground at 8:00 am. we will carpool over to the Butte and spend the morning placing gear and building anchors then critiquing our placements. after lunch we will do some mock-leading on low angle terrain setting up anchors at the top.

there is camping available at horse thief lake state park and you will need a buy a parking pass for $10 to park at the butte.
