Columbia Gorge 10 Waterfalls

We will see 10 waterfalls and lots of wildflowers as we work our way east up the Columbia Gorge.  We start at the Horsetail Falls trailhead and hike a loop that includes 6 waterfalls. Nearly all of the standing trees along the upper part of this loop up Oneonta Gorge were burnt in the 2017 fire, resulting in clear views all the way up and down Oneonta Gorge.

Next we drive a few miles east on the Historic Columbia River Hwy to the Elowah Falls trailhead at Yeon State Park. We will see two dramatic falls along this trail.

Next we drive a few more miles east to the Wahclella Falls trailhead. We will hike up narrow Tanner Creek Gorge to view two more falls, including my favorite Wahclella Falls with its corkscrew path and scenic bridge below its splash pool.

Hike is limited to 8 fully vaccinated and boosted hikers.
