Baskett Slough NWR
BASKETT SLOUGH NWR We will begin our hike at the small gravel parking lot on Coville Rd and begin by following the path through an oak forest to the Inter-tie trail leading down to Morgan Lake and around Moffiti Marsh where we will be sure to see a variety of birds. We will return to the Inter-tie Trail to complete our loop up to Baskett Butte Observation deck where we can eat lunch or have a snack while taking in the lovely view. In this area we will be treated to an array of wildflowers and possibly see meadowlarks. Bring binoculars (optional), wear boots (could be quite mucky), bring water and a lunch or snack.
