Baskett Slough
We'll walk up to the overlook first, then through the woods and then take the loop past Morgan Lake. We may not stop often, but if the meadowlarks are singing or if there are interesting ducks on the lake, it might be worth carrying binoculars. I hope to scout the trail a few days ahead to make sure that we can get around spots that tend to be very wet. We hope to stop for a snack at the bench by Morgan Lake. As usual, be prepared for possible showers and mud. Please email or text the leader for time and meeting place.
