Badger Lake Backpack

On this trip we will be hiking in the Badger Creek Wilderness to Badger Lake on the south side of Mt. Hood. This region of Mt. Hood is in a rain shadow and gets less moisture than other areas. We will be below 5,000 feet, so I don’t expect any snow, but the mosquitoes are likely to be out in force. Limited to eight people including the trip leader.

Driving distance 21.6 miles RT.

Hiking distance 21.6 miles RT.

Elevation gain 3000 feet.
