Stahlman Point
Stahlman is one of my favorite "close to home" hikes. Short and sweet, it is a constant uphill on a beautiful wooded trail with the pleasant surprise of a beautiful view at the very top. There can be muddy places, so keep that in mind when choosing your footwear. There is a very short scramble on rock at the top. A delightful hike on a Fall day. Ice cream stop on the way back to Salem ( of course!). Please e-mail leader at esharder@gmail.com to register.
