Cape Lookout - Whale watching

This is a good fall hike with spectacular views as we get closer to the cape.  This could be a winter day so dress for rain and wind.  Some of the trail can be muddy so wear boots that can take mud and wet.  Poles are a plus for this hike during the winter.  Winter sea birds may in evidence as well as whales.  Bring field glasses for better viewing.  We will have lunch at the cape.  On our return we can also take the side trip to the beach is desired.  The view of the cape from the beach is wonderful. Moderate pace. Pre-register with leader.
