This trail in the Menagerie Wilderness leads to a former lookout site with views of the South Santiam Canyon. Trail is well maintained, with a few trees to climb over. Steady uphill grade, steeper toward the top. Typically many spring flowers are blooming along the trail. Leader will scout in advance. Moderate pace.

Driving distance 130 miles RT.

Hiking distance 6.6 miles RT.

Elevation gain 2300 feet.
