Bachelor Mountain via Bugaboo Ridge

Longer and quieter than standard Bachelor Mountain route. Hike through old-growth forest, elk meadows and rock gardens to site of old Forest Service lookout, with magnificent views of Cascades peaks.


Difficulty: Medium  

Driving distance 140 miles RT.

Hiking distance 8.2 miles RT.

Elevation gain 1600 feet.
