How about a close-in hike to get a start on April hiking? The trail is not difficult and will meander through giant Douglas-fir and Hemlock trees and under the Shellburg Falls. We return via the Vine Maple and August Mountain Trails and will also plan to take a short side trip to explore the roar of running water to get a glimpse of Stassel Falls. This is a delightful hike any time of the year. Pre-register with leader at firstname.lastname@example.org. Moderate pace.
