Elk Meadows/Newton Creek - CANCELED due to SNOW!

Depends on what you want to do. We can make it a more moderate, 8 mile day and do the Elk Meadows loop or we can take the Newton Creek loop for a longer, harder day. There are a couple bridge-less creek crossings but we always find a way across. There are close-up views of Mt Hood. PRE-REG W/LDR by phone.

Difficulty = Medium Hard

Driving distance = 195 miles RT.

Hiking distance = 8.4 to 11.4 miles RT.

Elevation gain = 1450 to 2200 feet.
