This is a favorite hike in the Mt. Jefferson wilderness. To get to Grizzly Peak we start our hike at the trailhead for popular Pamelia Lake. From Pamelia Lake the trail is well-graded up to the summit of Grizzly Peak where we'll have close-up views of Mt. Jefferson and a leisurely lunch before returning on the same trail. Moderate pace.

Difficult: Hard

Driving distance: 132 miles RT.

Hiking distance : 10 miles RT.

Elevation gain: 2700 feet.
