Salem Audubon Nature Reserve and Waterfront Park

Several Chemeketan members have worked hundreds of hours removing invasive species and building trails at the Salem Audubon Nature Reserve.  This is our opportunity to view and appreciate the work done by the volunteers. We will start our hike at the reserve, take a meandering route through West Salem to the railroad pedestrian bridge then traverse waterfront park to the Peter Courtney Minto Island Bridge. The group will stop at Tap Root for brunch then complete the loop back to the Audubon reserve.  Be prepared for wet, windy conditions.
