New Year's Eve Potluck and McDonald Forest Hike

We will hike the Section 36 and Powder House trail at the Peavy Arboretum. The trail climbs through the arboretum to old Civilian Conservation Corps buildings and a nice view of Marys Peak. We return by a different trail to the OSU Forestry clubhouse and Cronemiller Lake making this a mostly loop hike.

Difficulty: Easy

Driving distance 65 miles RT.

Hiking distance 4 miles RT.

Elevation gain 1030 feet.
