McDonald Forest - Dan’s Trail

Dan’s Trail is in the McDonald Forest near Corvallis. The route is mostly forested and includes trails, gravel access roads and a horse trail. We climb to Dimple HiIl for a view over the valley, cut across by road to the Upper Horse Trail and around through the Jackson Creek area.

Difficulty: Medium

Driving distance 65 miles RT.

Hiking distance 8 miles RT.

Elevation gain 1600 feet.
