Opal Creek Hike

We will hike the pleasantly primitive road that crosses Gold-Creek on a 60-foot- high  bridge. At the 2 mile mark we will take the short side trail to view  the impressive Sawmill-Falls. Back on the road we shortly turn on the somewhat rough but idyllic Opal Creek trail and continue to Opal Pool where we cross the creek on a footbridge to get to Jawbone Flats , an old mining town. We'll stop for lunch  and return to our cars by  walking  the old mining road. Bring all your essentials and a happy mood.
