Clackamas River Reservoir Paddle
About this event
Also known as Promontory Park is the PGE reservoir east of Estacada. There's an excellent kayak launch. Also parking, a store and restrooms. A part of the reservoir is suitable for motorized boats but there is still plenty of space for a canoe/kayak section for a scenic, leisurely paddle. If there's time we can go to an attached small lake for a swim. Bring snacks and a meal, water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and an Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program permit. Great for first-time kayakers.
