Cape Lookout Hike
We will start at the upper parking lot and hike out to the tip of the peninsula where we stop for lunch. We will return the same way we came. This is an easy , short and beautiful hike . It is possible to see by passing Whales, binoculars would be helpful. If this hike Is too short for you we could hike down to South Beach and add another 3.6 miles(RT) It is an absolutely lovely beach and well worth the extra effort .I let the group decide if they want to go for it or not.
Bring all your essentials,wear boots and bring poles ,this trail can be muddy and slippery if we get a lot of rain before to this hiking date .
Refreshments on the way home is always a delight.
