Scio and Stayton - Rescheduled for Feb. 19 due to weather
This walk will be partly exploratory, so come for adventure and be flexible. In the early 1900s, 170 Czech families lived in the vicinity of Scio. We will visit a cemetery just south of Scio that has many Czech graves. The cemetery may be muddy, so shod yourself accordingly. In addition, we will take an urban walk in Stayton. We will also visit a few covered bridges. Lunch will be in a restaurant in Scio or Stayton, but bring a snack and water. The group will be limited to 8. Please pre-register by noon the day before.
