Events - Event View

We’ll start at the Butteville Store, walk three miles to the Champoeg State Park Visitor Center, eat our sack lunches outside or huddled under the eaves (something plastic to sit on is a good idea), take a half-hour or so to look at the exhibits at the Visitor Center, and walk back to Butteville. There is sometimes coffee for a donation at the Visitor Center, but you may wish to bring a thermos with a hot drink. Bring rain gear, an umbrella if you wish (wide trail), non-slip and waterproof shoes, warm clothing/gloves, and a lunch. The trail is mostly asphalt.  We will depart in the morning from the NW corner of the Fred Meyer North lot on Broadway, near the Les Schwab dealer. Time will be given when you pre-register. Limited to 10. Please pre-register by noon the day before.
